How to check image backup belongs to what robot

If you have a spare robot, you could take an image of it, then load the images on it one at a time and see if the F# is set correctly inside, mark the files, then restore the original image.

Mount image (FAT16), look for orderfil.dat in os\fra.

I recommend osfmount in order to mount the image.

Note that I wrote "FRA", not "FRS".

In backups of my real robots, I have all sorts of information about which robot it is, but in images from RG that's not the case, so perhaps that is not the best way to go about this.

A good alternative would be summary.dg, in the same directory.

Note that summary.dg is present only in newer robots (R-30iA and forward, if I recall correctly).

If the robots were to old, maybe would be difficult to obtain this information.

I don't have an image of an older controller available right now, but another alternative would be to look at featfil.dat (in os\frs).

I've just tried to mount an IMG backup using OSFMount - cool, I can see the file structure, BUT all the files seem to be empty or encrypted (?). Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to see the file contents?
