Hi, we had to remove the CLP from the control panel of a robot, so to use it an error message appears "Prio-063 Bad I/O asg: Rack 1 Slot 3... at line 0"

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks.

Oh sorry, here in Brazil it`s called CLP,

It is PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)

How was it connected to the robot?

The error that you posted seems to point to a Fanuc IO modules (Rack1), which is either badly configured or not present (removed or without power).

Someone connected it to use a camera in the robot, then the sameone removed it and he can't fix it either..

My bosses are traveling and I have no idea how to fix it

I also think it's something without energy power

well, that's what you can find in the manual or HERE

    Quote

    PRIO-063 Bad I/O asg: rack %d slot %d

Cause: One or more assignments to the process I/O board or module at the specified rack and slot was invalid when the
    controller was turned on.

Remedy: Check the connections and power to the board or rack and that the module(s) are firmly installed. If the board or
module has been permanently removed, moved to a different Model A slot or had its switch settings changed (model
B), use the CONFIG option on the Digital I/O menu to delete or update the assignment(s).

Would be difficult to help you further without knowing your system configuration. If you don't have any FANUC MODEL A IO modules connected to the controller, just remove the faulty assignments in MENU - I/O - F1 (Type) - Digital - Config. If you do, well, you have to make sure they are connected correctly and configure them.

That is just a warning and will prevent running. If there is nothing connected to the robot you can clear IO assignments via menus-->5-->Link Device-->F4 CLR_ASN. Then cycle power. Warning: this will un-config all digital, group and UOP assingments.

That should read "will not prevent running"

Just clear out the I/o assignment for that module. Instead of everything

Sounds like if the PLC is disconnected, and you are getting bad I/O fault on robot, then maybe the power from your robot i/o blocks were getting power through the PLC? Do you have an output that turns the robot i/o modules on and off? I wouldn't think this is the issue, but just checking. It would be interesting to see how you wire up panels in Brazil vs America. I don't think there is much difference probably.
