Hello
You can setup startup program with override command for example to 80 percent
$ARM_OVR:80 -
If you are concerned with the speed% displayed on the pendant, use $GEN_OVR := 50 (for 50%) instead of ARM_OVR. ARM_OVR will modify the program speed, but will not display at the top of the pendant.
-
But for example with welding if you use smartarc application... with genovr 50% welder wont start with armovr yes.

Hi! And what happen if the control is shooting of due a power failure. As soon as the power is back again the controller is automatically rebooted? Without the sturtup procedure? That is the thing that worry me most...

what you setup in startup (Setup/System/startup) it allways runs first, even if you perform cold reset. you can put there NOHOLD program witch slow down speed of robot.

Hi! There is a way lo lower the main speed on startup? I've noticed that after a complete restart (not cold but usual) the main velocity is always 100%...If you had a blackout or turned off or you changed mode during motion robot might be slightly off trajectory and it will tell you first MOVE is performed slow speed due to recovery.
If you want systematically slow down auto you need to temporarily change $GEN_OVR based on powerfail or other event and check value of $CYCLE.

When you try command $GEN_OVR := 50 it makes error
System var GEN_OVR only has READ access.
-
Try changing $PROG_SPD_OVR then.
