LOWER THE MAIN SPEED AT STARTUP

  • If you are concerned with the speed% displayed on the pendant, use $GEN_OVR := 50 (for 50%) instead of ARM_OVR. ARM_OVR will modify the program speed, but will not display at the top of the pendant.

  • Hi! And what happen if the control is shooting of due a power failure. As soon as the power is back again the controller is automatically rebooted? Without the sturtup procedure? That is the thing that worry me most...


  • Hi! There is a way lo lower the main speed on startup? I've noticed that after a complete restart (not cold but usual) the main velocity is always 100%...


    If you had a blackout or turned off or you changed mode during motion robot might be slightly off trajectory and it will tell you first MOVE is performed slow speed due to recovery.


    If you want systematically slow down auto you need to temporarily change $GEN_OVR based on powerfail or other event and check value of $CYCLE.
