I would like to know if is it possible to communicate between a computer and the robot (DX200)
On my PC i will use Visual Basic for send my data to the robot .
did anyone ever do it before ?

I dont know weather we can send data using Visual basic, but pleaae have a look on ROS for industrial http://rosindustrial.org
and u can also find tutorials but the client libraries are written in c++ and python, LIST

It is absolutely possible. I use visual studio to create C# applications communicating to the robot using the high speed ethernet server protocol. You can find a manual on Motoman's website for how to enable it on the robot (minus a necessary paid parameter), and how to format the packets for transmitting the data. To save time in development, Motoman does offer MotoCom ES which comes with a library of the instructions to use in your visual studio application.
