Roboguide help

    I just recently acquired the Roboguide software here at work and I have a question on importing our robots into the program. How would I go about putting a thumb drive in the robot and transferring the necessary files onto roboguide so I can work a cell that mimics the physical ones we use. I have back ups of the programming of the robots, but I am wondering if there is a more specific way to set this up.

  • When you create the cell, there is the option to create your robots from a BACKUP ALL folder
    That way, the robot is re-created inside roboguide, all programs, configurations, frames, etc.

    Next step is to load the cad models of your cell elements, tooling, parts, fixtures, etc.
    You are going to spent some time to locate you models in the same (hopefully) relative position as in the real cell
