how to jump safety chains on irc5 controller

  • We have some inverted robots that cannot use the safety controller (lower left corner of cabinet), so X21 and X22 are jumpered. I'm told that X23 will bypass both X21 AND X22, but X21/X22 plugs need to be removed first.


    On the upper right side of the cabinet is a board w/ connectors X1, X2, X5, and X6
    X1 is E-Stop Out Chan 1
    X2 is E-Stop Out Chan 2
    X5.4 and X5.10 are General Stop
    X5.5 and X5.11 are Auto Stop
    X6 is Superior Stop

    I'll assume this is a new-to-you machine you need to set up - not a production machine you are trying to run w/ safeties bypassed...
