Finding where a DO is being used

Hello Folks,

I have somehow managed to have this DO being set ON somewhere in the controller, I mean it's not being set in the program it's somewhere else, like in some variables config, inside some menu, maybe even in a BG Logic.

Is there a way to do a "FIND" for it?

You can search every program or what I use is Notepadd++. I will take a backup of the robot, then open all the *.LS files in notepad++. Then do a search for DO[xx]

Notepad++ can also search all documents in a folder, saving you from having to open all of them.

Roboguide also has a search function, but Notepad++ is more configurable, plus it's free.

Make sure to also check the interconnect menu. I don't think they will show up in a text search.

I have found that way does not always work.

Hello guys thank you for all of your help.

I was able to find out where this DO was being set, unfortunately it was not in the program, it was in being set by a system variable.
As I suspected I miss typed the DO I was supposed to use.

I'm using a CR-35iA collaborative robot and it has a some DOs for indicating the collaborative operation status they are under the variable $DCSS_CLLB[1]

The bad part is that I may never be able to find it with the format DO[XXX] because it's only a number indicating the DO number.
