Hello
You can do mastering the dial gauge.
seach mastering topics with skyefire - there was few discussion of crude mastering without any tool. it may not be perfect but for jobs where you teach points, it may be just good enough...
of course if you mention where you are, someone may be willing to offer friendly hand.

The EMD? No. And that's a very sophisticated device, both mechanically and electronically.
If you mean the tool for using a dial indicator on the Mastering gauge, I don't have one, but I believe there are posters who have made their own. You'd have to search the archives to find them, but they might be willing to share their build drawings.
i think it was posted on the forum.
here is similar effort with 3D printed adapter
Hi everyone, I´m using a KR 100-2 PA robot with a AK10 controller.
I have a SEMD/MEMD mastering tool but I can see that the plug on the back of the robot cannot be used with this mastering tool box (we have the mastering tool from another project)
is there any way I can use the mastering box or do I have to buy the EMT mastering tool?
Contact KUKA or check downloads section. I shared pdf file named mastering tools v2 or similar that has plenty of info including optional cable that can be added to your MEMD/SEMD tool and make it work with older robots
ok here it is:
the part number for optional cable was 00-228-327
you should check the specific robot model's documentation from my.kuka for the exact mehanical zero positions of your robot. then you can use dial master section the menu.
