How do you guys upload a gripper for the robot (can be any of them). I am trying to upload a CAD file and/or Solidworks file of a gripper but I can't seem to get it to upload.

The Solidworks file may be too big and too detailed. Models in Solidworks have every screw, nut washer, fitting..... MotoSIM doesn't need any of that.

but up to 50 MB is no problem since update 2017.
We use .igs files and Motosim change these fils in .hsf if you import it.
I have my gripper uploaded and on the end of my robot. I am just having trouble now getting it to open and close. My gripper doesn't have any nuts, bolts, screws, etc. Just the basic outline.
You will have to write a model script for this. Tie the model script to an output number. When the output turns on or off in the job the script will execute.
