Our shop is currently running a Fanuc robot. We have touch sensing on it and it worked fine. A couple days ago it started saying "Contact Before Search". It's not touching the part of the fixture. I ran it on parts that I know it worked before and it still keeps saying it.
I fooled around with the Touch I/O by changing DI to RI and it search and sparked when it hit the part meaning it got the electrical signal on wire but it kept on going and just bent the wire back.
We have a second operator on it and he thinks he messed the Touch Frame settings. I however can't find anything in them. I did zero them but still doesn't work.
Any help will be appreciated!
