After Power loss KRC2 does not have communication.

  • After a sudden power loss, a KRC2 controlled KUKA robot does not recognize signals and has no communication. 2 Breaker switches flew after which the KRC2 was started again. The HMI on the user controller loads. The KC2 does not recognize any signals. Signals such as Emergency Stop, key selector for operational mode (T1, T2, ect.), and deadman switch. Has anyone experienced this before? Has the sudden loss of power damaged the internal PC? Unfortunately I cannot post and pictures or read messages from the log, because I am not personally at the maschine. I will go tomorrow.

  • Well, without more details on the specific KRC2 configuration, it's hard to say precisely. But it certainly sounds like the external power over the X11 to supply the safety board is missing.
