I'm confused at the very beginning - in the overview image (attached) it shows the 7th axis and the arm connected to a single SMB.
Is this the SMB inside the base of the arm?
is there a better step-by-step of how to connect an external axis, if it's not an ABB or plug-and-play setup? We have some special rotary tables we'd like to keep, and use a servo rather than the positioner setup we have now.
I have wiring diagrams, but I'm not an expert with them.
