Dear all
We use our R2000iA 165R with 2 external rails axis as milling machine.
The programs are made largely by a sequence of L movement between close points (see the attached example).
We normally end the movement by CNT100 termination.
In our RJ2 system we have noted that in that way the movements are enough smooth and the precision isn't so bad, also increasing the speed to 60%-80% of 100mm\sec
In the RJ3B systems, instead, we have found that as we increase speed from 10 to 100% the real path is very different from the expected, so we need to pass to FINE termination or decrease the speed too much for our productivity needs.
In the attached example we use a CNT60 termination and limit the speed to no more than 60% as a relative good compromise between precision and speed, but in any case, the result is poor respect the old RJ2 system.
There are somethings we can do?
How can I have same performance of RJ2 on RJ3B ? which variable need to change?
Pls, let me known if you needs more infos to better understanding the problem we have.
Best regards,
Guizzo
