Can we mount IRB 1410 inverted

Hi,
We have brought a used IRB 1410 with IRC 5 controller.
We want to know two things

1. Can we mount the robot up side down.

2. How to know what type of communication protocol is there in controller.

I'm going to go with 1. No, my manual say its for floor mounting. and 2. Devicenet???

Checking parameter beta if you can change and test if that working.

Correct is only floor option 224-1 .I checking totally avoid to mounting wall inverter or tilt
