    Hello,
    Check the wiring in the torch, inside the controller and test the circuit with a multimeter.
    To disable shock sensor you need to go to the menu Robot, shock sensor detection level and set the configuration. Be careful, running robot without shock sensor can be dangerous to you, your jigs and the robot.

    The shock sensor is a normally closed circuit that leaves the controller and goes out to the safety clutch and through a switch in the clutch then back to the controller. If you are getting alarm 4110 this circuit is open and you must trace it out and close the circuit. It may be the safety clutch is not in the proper socket and therefore tripped.

    To add a little bit more to RoboDoc's reply. You don't state the controller generation. Assuming XRC or newer. In Editing Security level or higher, go to ROBOT, OVERRUN and S-SENSOR. The status circle under S-SENSOR should be lit up. Down at the bottom of the screen is RELEASE. When you touch or select on RELEASE the status circle should change states. Select or touch on RESET. This will clear the alarm and allow you to jog the robot as long as you stay in this screen.

    To troubleshoot the shock sensor, inside the controller are two wires that the shock sensor plugs into. This might be the XTU on a XRC, NTU on a NX, or AXA on a DX100 or DX200. You can jumper the two wires from the board together. If the alarm goes away on any screen other than OVERRUN and S-SENSOR the problem is outside the controller. If the problem still remains it's in the board circuitry. Generally, not always, somewhere outside the controller is a point where you can jumper these two wires again. Alarm, problem between the controller and the jump point. No alarm, farther out. If you get all the way out to the shock sensor and no alarm, the sensor is bad. More than likely due to a crash.

    I'm using DX100 for plasma cutting, whilst it was in the process of cutting it stopped and showed 4110 alarm shock sensor. Did everything I could to remove the alarm through OVERRUN & S.SENSOR but still after releasing and going back to the JOB it pops up again, I really ran out of ideas what to do now. PLEASE ASSIST !!!

    Can someone assist me with this, the wire doesn't feedout when pressing button f6/9 and as such when i press play button to weld it gives me wire sticking/short with a code 9001. How do i resolve this in order for me to weld?

    Manual doesn't address the issue other than to show how to view what kind of alarm it is (User alarm system) that's it, now i can't continue to weld 🤷

    I must also highlight that the wire feeder buttons does feed out and pull the wire, problem is just from the pendant or when i press play to start welding it stop and says missing arc action...

    Check shock sense cable for damage/ try replacing it.

    Install a new torch

    Has there been any recent crashes? I had to replace the thru-arm collision mount (ICAT-M3X for YRC1000) after a crash as it was damaged internally and Shock sensor alarm wouldn't clear until this was replaced.

    Check the wiring inside the torch, shorts happen there easily as it's a tight space.

    Blown fuse can also cause shock sensor to remain active.

    Morning, ERROR 5211 : EXDS signal is OFF

    What could be the problem and how to resolve it, I cancel it and it dissappears but when I switch the servo ON it pops up again and there's nothing I can do to jog the robot.

    Please assist!!!
