I have a KUKA robot krc4, KSS 8.3.2. I would like to know if there is a variable, you can query the current logged in user groups.

In V8.5 we will introduce $USER_LEVEL for this.

If you have the Zenon plugin Tech Package, it does introduce $USERMODENVAR (might need to check the spelling on that one) which can be used to determine the current user group. I use it extensively with the Zenon plugin.
