NC servo Locator Kawasaki

    Dear all!
    I have a question outside forum, i hope everybody can help me.
    I try find some document of NC servo Locator system of Kawasaki but me can't find them.
    Someone have info about this system, please share with me. i really need it.

    These are not very common, I have only come across a couple of these in Europe, but information was only in Japanese.
    I managed to get my head around them as they are just 'bolted' onto a Kawasaki Multi Robot Controller.
    - Treated as External Axes (as a Robot) but not controlling any TCP, just X/Y/Z Linear axes to move Clamps into position to retain a part, in order for the Robot to spot weld around.
    - So the Multi Robot Controller, controlled 4 of these NC's aswell as a welding manipulator.
    - Pretty impressive to see it all generated from one controller.


    As for information, as I said it was all in Japanese and Customer owned documentation.


    You would be better contacting KHI in Japan, I am pretty sure they will have the relevant information you require.
