INFO ON DX200 AND FIELDBUS

    Hi Guys,
    a couple of question today:

    1) Recently we received a new DX200 and instead of the previous version when a try to load a job with a format speed number like MOVL V=250.000(for example) it goes in error: ERROR 3220: JOB DATA RECORD[58].
    The only way is loading a MOVL V=250.0. Does anyone find this problem and know how to solve it?
    2) For a next project will arrive a new MH225II in our factory. I see the schemes for the internal wiring harness, so do you think that is possible use this for a devicenet cable, instead of create an external wiring cable?

    1) Please remember the robot really works in MM/sec. You can change how the speed is displayed in Management security level, under setup and under operating conditions. The choices are MM/sec, CM/min, Inch/min and MM/min. If you were looking at a robot that was set to Inch/min and tried to set you speed to the same number the robot will give you errors.

    2) It is not recommended you use the internal harness for any of the serial connections (Device net, CC-Link...) there is too much noise off the motor cables and these connections need a line with no noise. It is best to install a shielded cable and connect your serial link with that.

    Thanks for the advices.

    I know that I can set the speed displayed, I'm sure that the speed settings are correct both sides(controller and emulator). The problem is that in the previous controller (DX100 and the first DX200 that arrived) I can load a job that has, for example, a MOVL with a V=25.000, V=25.00 or V=25.0 without getting any error. Now the last DX200 accept only the form V=25.0.
    Seems that Yaskawa has introduced a control on the format number and I suppose that it could be linked to a parameter.
