Looks like BaseWare 3.0 is what is loaded, that fits the DSQC325 Main Computer. You should call ABB tech support and see if they will send you temporary link to download the 3.0 software pack, they usually do this for free. Once you have the software pack, then try an I-Start (Query Start) and see if that will rescue your operating system. If the software is still corrupt after an I-Start, you may have to reload software and you won't be able to reload software without a 'Key' disk. You'll have to contact ABB for the new key disk.
This is the only way I know to try to salvage a corrupt system without having a key disk and reloading the entire system.
Thanks Skooter. Will try tomottow if I have a chance.

No luck getting a temporary download link. ☹️ Now waiting for the formal quote for the complete disk set and a new ser of batteries for the serial measurement board. Maybe sometime next week will be able to move forward a bit.

Everything ordered today. Might be a couple of weeks until they get me the key disk.

If you ask, sometimes they will email you the key disk files ahead of time and send a link to download a zip the 3.0 software. They've done that for me when customer had to running ASAP. You have to give them a day or so to get the key generated.
If had the 3.0 disk pack, still think doing an i-start may be worth trying.
Should have disks sometime tomorrow. Then, I need to find a moment of silence to install everything.

Software installed and calibration completed. Hopefully this robot will be ok now, once I get the rest of the cell assembled and ready for production.
Thanks to all who replied to help out!

Hi Guys,
sorry for revival of that corpse, but I have the same issue. Got robot with controller looks like this. I strongly suspect it is S4C.
Could somebody be so kind to share the contents of the boot diskets please?
My gratitude will be unlimited within reasonable limits
Please reread the previous posts and try to provide as much information as you can about the controller boards, serial #, information from backups, etc. The 3 different software versions for the S4C have different requirements. An example: going backwards from RW3.2 to RW3.1 can cause issues on a Robot CPU board.
Hello, Skooter!
I will continue this thread instead of Andrey. We work together on this issue.
So, relying on information from robotstudio forum about model types, we can assume it is an M98, M98A or M99 model (BTW, what is the difference?).
The control cabinet has DSQCs 373,361,323,370 installed. The label on a front door is faded, so no other information...
The cabinet looks like a usual s4c. Except one thing. It has ports in the bottom part instead of having them on the side plane. And there is a connector for an external axis.
The robot itself looks like IRB2400L - we measured its dimensions, and this is not a 10/16 version.
We have no backups nor any disks at all...
Now we just do not know where to start.
