IRC5 controlling S4C+

    Hi,


    I am looking to integrate an IRB6400 with IRC5 controller with a 2Axis positioner and second robot arm with an S4C+ for moving heavy loads.


    Is it possible to:


    1- get the IRC5 to control the second arm by removing the old controller and installing second robot axis drives inside the IRC5
    or
    2- get the IRC5 to sync and control the S4C+.

    We currently have about 60 S4C+ robots running on IRC5 controllers. If you will look around you will see a lot of companies like the reliability of the S4C robots over the IRC5's, therefore, they upgraded their cabinets and only overhauled their manipulators.
    We had to have our IRC5 cabinets custom wired for our applications.
