floppy to usb conversion

    i am looking into a floppy to usb conversion on my abb robots. i would like to know if there are any plug and play convertors out there.
    how easy of an install are they.

    ABB has a version, but dunno about installation.

    If you search amazon for a usb floppy emulator, they have several options for around $30-$40. they are plug and play. unhook the floppy drive in the cabinet, plug in the usb drive and you are done. you do need the ABB usb floppy manager software that is free to download.

    After installation, you need to format your USB like a Floppy. (Normally 100 disk in a USB), and select the "disk" in your USB with front buttons in your device.
    For this, you hace a "UFloppyManagerII-ABB" software.
    For Windows 7:

    Sometimes i have a problems with this software. You can check KETRON Software.

    Yes, i know. It's a italian software for Midi Music, but it work!
