Does anybody know how to control speed override of a robot ABB from external device like PLC?

One option would be to use the VELSET command, another would be to make the speed a variable, and use something like
CodevProcessSpeed.v_tcp:=nSpeedNumPLC;to set TCP speed.

Not quite sure what you mean...
I don't do much (any) multitasking, but I have used both techniques to slow a program. -
Interrupts would be another option - I've only used them a couple of times.

I hoped there was a better way to do it but I think i will do it in this way! -
I've done SpeedRefresh via a PLC and it works great. Just put "SpeedRefresh giSpeedOverride;" a couple places in the program. It didn't instantly update -- the PLC updated the group input, but it wouldn't take until it hit one of those "SpeedRefresh giSpeedOverride;" lines as the program ran.
