As far as I'm aware there is no system switch to turn off the logs.
- They do have a dedicated memory area internally, so when full, the oldest event is then removed and then the newest event shifts the order down, this prevents too much memory being taken up my errors. Why would you want to turn these off - I use them all the time because the 'operators' never see what happens.. ......so I use them to locate the source of the problems.
- On an error event in the logs, if you press enter on the line, you also get additional positional/operational information which is very useful indeed in the event of an error. -
Its mainly for automated backup use. It takes too long to backup the error log files. I know there is a way because I have another robot that has it disabled.

.........How long does it take?
The only place I am aware of for 'automated backups' is the Autosave Configuration Aux Function.
- I think you can setup 'selective saves' there, but have never used it.
- AUX 0210.
- Worth a look. -
okay thanks, i don't think that helps. this is more developmental VBA running and backing up the robot before dumping the new files.

- Take a backup of it, backup your other one and use some comparison software to find the differences - one of those differences should be what you need to adjust in the new one.
- That's if there is a system switch......
