Hi, we are using a fanuc 120ic robot. while programing the same in the instruction set of robot, only TRACK TAST option is found, which earlier had the option of TRACK AVC. Any suggestion how to get TRACK AVC instead of TRCK TAST options by changing some setting or though some variable.
Our controller version is 8.30.

Very late reply but just in case you still need or anyone stumbles across this on google;
Go to system variables when in control start and to the following;$AWECFG.$ARC_PROCESS
When value 1 = TAST
When value 2 = AVC
The variable beneath $AWECFG is $AWECFGS – which is individual config parameters for each welding procedure available to be set up.
All of the $ARC_PROCESS sub variables for each $AWECFG no's inside the header variable need changing to ensure tracking schedules change from TAST to AVC.
Quite often when tracking in AVC, the allowed CPU usage for tracking is set to low, and you will have the following error occur before / after the weld;‘TAST IO FAILED TO START’ and 2; ‘SYTG overrun: %d %d %x %d %d’ then reboot the controller in cold start
If this persists;
Go to control start and variables
Find the variable $TG_MX_SCUS and change from default of 250 to 500. We normally set to 700 on tracking systems. Fanuc advised NEVER to go above 750 as can corrupt major components.
