All, I am trying to use the PLC to function abort 9 robots Fanuc 710/20L . How could I maybe attach this function to a I/O I can trigger?

If by function abort you mean program execution abort, this is done by the CSTOPI UI signal.

...after you configure the robot to do so.Menu -> System -> Config, set CSTOPI for abort to TRUE (and optionally Abort all programs by CSTOPI to TRUE).

After this I want to call a main program. I would do this by the PLC correct?

Depends how your arrangement is done, How do you select a program > PNS, RSR, others ?
if you are using Others, go to Details and specified the name of the master program you are using. That will be the program that Fanuc call when you resume/start
You have to do some changes in the system config -
It's currently selected through a GI. 12 calls A program...14 calls B program. And every time we start in auto all robots have to be abort then placed into main program .

where are the commands written ? which program ?
IF GIxx = 12 CALL A
IF GIxx = 14 CALL B -
That's correct. All of these examples are written in one program called main.
