RoboGuide changing T1 to T2 mode

  • Hello,
I would like to change teach mode from T2 to T1. Normally I am changing it by using key on real controller, but right now I am working with simulation in Roboguide. Is there a possibility to change this teach mode on simulation? I can't really find any information about it.

    Thanks for any help.

  • As far as I know when you turn the Teach Pendent "on" it simulates the key to "T2". I've never seen an option to set "T1". Question: (Just because I'm curious) Why would you need to simulate "T1"?

  • I wonder what would happen if you disable the T2 mode via System variables and then use the pendant with Roboguide. Does roboguide will assume the new mode would be T1 and start acting like it is ? Maybe you wanna try that

  • In Roboguide, open the Robot Web Browser window.
At the top of the window, select SOP (Standard Operator Panel).
On that screen you should be able to select T1 mode for your simulation.

    To move the robot:
    Hold <SHIFT>
While holding shift, press <RESET> (Just pressing <RESET> alone will not get rid of the DCS fault so you can move)
While still holding <SHIFT>, move the robot back into the safe zone.

I had the same problem. It seems an obvious solution now, but there's nothing in the Roboguide help manuals specifically regarding the T1/T2 settings or the web browser.
