Hello. I think you have set it up with workvisual. Are you using ConveyorTech package? If so you should have there a manual how to set it up.

OK,i don't have the conveyor tech manual to check. I know when I set up an external axis, I have to setup that axis in workvisual and then I can read motor positon but also I can move that axis. If I'm correct you just need to read position of the resolver. Did you try the drive configuration in workvisual?

Maybe you can see the E1 position where you can also see the robot positions.

I am not aware of a way to read raw poaition value - unless you connect it 8n place of one of motor resolvers and that will cause loss of mastering.

To see position value (s) one must follow configuration in the manual including calibration, triggering, etc. When conveyor tech is installed you also get another program module template.

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

Hello. I have found conveyorTech manual for KRC4, and there should be signal available $POS_TRACKER_ERROR for checking connection in the $machine.dat if an electrical connection to a position tracker(resolver on the conveyor) is broken.
This description is directly from the manual.

You wont be able to find this catalogs on the net. Maybe you can write to KUKA support where you bought the robot and the conveyorTech package and they will send you catalogs and support you.
