Sub Part Variation

  • We have two mostly identical cells, one made around a year ago in Europe and one made in the last few months in America. On the European cell, the robot controller cabinets are positioned farther away from the robots than in the American cell, so they used a longer set of cables. With the American cell, they decided a shorter set of cables would be appropriate, but now that it is almost completely together, they have realized that there is a very small difference. One of the brake cables for an external axis servo motor had a 90 degree connector on the European cell, and an in line connector on the American cell, which can not reach the port. The connector is threaded so it can be exchanged, but I have had no luck with Fanuc tech support on getting a part number for the 90 degree connector. We have an electrician here, and worst case they will find or make a connector from scratch, but we would prefer to just use the correct part. If anyone happens to know the part number for this connector, or even for a short cable with this removable connector, it would be greatly appreciated.

The robots are both M-710iC with R30iB controllers, and the numbers written on the cable for the American model are below. I have attached pictures of the connector we have now. The cable and connector that we want to replicate are currently inaccessible.
