Hello,
a bit strange question may be, but i need help with this.
Somebody just broke the key lock of the KCP. See attached image.
The robot is KRC2 ed05.
Is it possible this to be repaired? OR i need a new KCP?
Is it ok to use KRC2 KCP ( i have spare) or it is needed to be from KRC2 ed05? Is there any difference?

Thanks for the help!
May be new lock? What should be the cost? If you know of course... -
depends where you are, how fast you want it back and if and what warranty you want.
minimum fee applies even when repair is relatively quick and replacement parts are low cost.
in North America for example:
- if you want it "factory reconditioned" (repaired, cleaned, tested, worn parts replaced, 12 months warranty) for "like new condition", expect to pay 50% or more of the new pendant (normally 2-3 weeks)
- bare bone pendant repair is replacement of obvious damage, tested, no warranty, on average may take 4-6 weeks (lowest cost option, starts at ~$500USD or so i believe)
- default repair is only a bit more ($100?) but gets you warranty
- if you need unit back asap, additional "expedite" fee applies in which case this is done is just few days (another $400 or so)contact your Kuka and ask for details. they can get you estimate but you will need to send unit in for evaluation before you get proper quote.

Hi V
I swapped a KCP from a KRC2 with one from KRC2 ed 2005 and was no difference, was working perfect. Just check the pins to be same into connectors
