I have never seen KRC running aftermarket motherboard.
I think problem lays on a BIOS level configuration (interrupt handling)
If you can try to get same type of SOYO motherboard and replace CMOS with KUKA one maybe it will work.
Yes I think I know what you are talking about, I saw some Soyo MB on the net for sale some do have the Kuka chip some dont, like this :
I have ordered the same board without the kuka label on the chip, hope it works.
Yeah this is the CMOS with KUKA Bios configuration.
I do not think it will work without proper configuration of BIOS.

I think this is mobo name SY-7VBA133U.
Kuka once have K instead of U at the end (that needs verification, don't have KRC to check)
