I/O configuration with Electric MF

Follow the steps as shown in the screenshots.
In case you don't have the "IOConfiguration.wvs" in your project, already, do as in the last image.

I've never used MF iiwa's to control a Gripper, and it seems like I cannot create a new I/O group either (I works for IO Elekrisch robots).
If I was you, I'll go old school and use the EtherCat module directly (KR C I/O's in the work visual, I guess).

Don't you have MAM interface with build in IO available to map?
I have plain Electric flange (no IO)
But just for the sake of it I added MAM and seems like I have IO available to map.

It doesn't work for Media Flange Electric on SunriseWorkBench 1.11 and WorkVisual 4.0 ! I had the same problem as you when I used them, the "SION CIB Safety Modul SR" shouldn't be grayed out.

I uninstalled Workbench 1.11 and Work visual 4.0, and re-installed Workbench 1.9 and WorkVisual 3.0.9.

The weird thing is, I didn't notice this with WB 1.11 as I have Media Flange IO Elektrisch, and WV 4 works fine with them.

OK, I tried it today (Sunrise1.11)

Button for "Create signals ..." is greyed out because there is no IO on a controller side.
You need to add something (anything) that will give the robot IO access and at this point you can create new groups.

It kind of make sense - no IO to connect to - no groups to create.

Yeah, but it's still weird as the earlier version detect the SION CIB safety module. I don't know if the DTM's for it are lacking on the latest releases.

Could you mind showing some directions about how to update the DTM file?

It is greyed out by default. Also, there is no available DTM, when I was trying to add a new SION_CIB_SR configuration.

The Sunrise Workbench is 1.3.14.0.

The Workvisual is in 5.0.2.0313.
