**** There are 3 Modes of KROSET - Lite/Trial/Licensed ****
Can be very problematic and long winded to do in KROSET whether Lite/Trial/Licensed version as KROSET not designed for this purpose.
KROSET uses different AS/SV firmware than controller and default settings.
It depends on why you want to load in a file save in KROSET and usually requires 'removing' certain data from the file save prior to loading into KROSET.
- eg IP address, zeroing data, servo parameters and settings that can cause conflicts issues.KROSET actually uses 2 different controllers - one for the Layout and one for the Terminal.
- They always require synchronising in order to utilize the Terminal, otherwise data is not saved.
- With a Trial/Licensed Mode, you can synchronise automatically, (you set the save options in the plugins/options section), with Lite you cannot. So unless you know what you need to load, and what you don't need to load can produce many errors, KROSET freezing and incorrect results etc.
This is what I have found whilst playing with KROSET and cannot provide any document/guide except for the method I have used which works for my purpose.
There maybe other ways.......but below is what I do when using Lite mode....The file I intend to load into KROSET, I remove all data I don't need by opening the file in notepad and deleting what I don't need.
- I remove ALL the data upto the first .INTER_PANEL (if I intend to keep Teach Pendant IF Panel data) or the first .PROGRAM entry and save.
- This removes ALL the data that can cause me problems/conflicts etc.
- Open KROSET and create project, adding same Controller and Robot.
- Press Terminal TAB.
- Open project folder (right side of Terminal Window) and paste prepared .as file into folder.
- Use Terminal Window and type in LOAD 'filename'.as
- Load should be successful without errors.
(optional) - I then prepare the tool in Terminal - turn off QTOOL and set tool via AS command.
- Then synchronise Controller => Layout (all options ticked) - this transfers all data/settings to Layout Controller (right side of screen).
- After sync complete, if I have set tool, tool axes change in viewer.........
- SAVE project, close and re-open project.
- Layout Controller (right side of screen) contains all programs/locations etc now, but Terminal (dir command) is ALWAYS empty.
- Synchronise Layout => Controller (all options ticked) - this transfers all data/settings to Terminal Controller (and Teach Pendant).
- You can then use Terminal/Teach Pendant for programming, jogging and simulation.
- ALL other features in KROSET options you do not need to use.
- So result is now you are using 'live' robot instead (ie Like you are Online with KCwin and using Teach Pendant for Teach/Repeat Operations).Important - when you have finished and closing KROSET.
**** If you fail to synchronise Controller => Layout (all options) before closing/saving, then ALL data lost from Terminal when you re-open project again****
So:
- I synchronise Controller => Layout (all options - all my work is then transferred to right side of screen).
- Then I SAVE project and close KROSET.
- When I re-open KROSET, I then open project and Synchronise Layout => Controller (all options ticked).
- All data is in Terminal and Teach Pendant and can use again.Like I say, very long winded and this is how I use Lite version, but try it and see what results you get.
If you are using Trial/Licensed Mode, then you still need to remove data from the file, but the synchronising can be setup automatically.Hope this helps.....................

Hi I could do with more detailed information:
- Error Code and/or description - Did the load complete with errors.
- Screen capture of Terminal during load process.
- Maybe example of actual file trying to load (if not too big to post in thread or add as an attachment - change extension to .txt and I can check structure).
