Good morning,
I have 4 laser's placed in my robot tool for distance measurement to a piece. When measurement of the laser's is equal to a given value the robot must stop instantaneously. I'm currently using an analog input of my PLC to process the data and then sends the robot stop order (using the error recovery). Since the processing time is high when the robot stops already crashed into the piece.
From what I was to do the best way is to connect directly with laser's digital output to the robot controller (R30iA). What do you think? Where can I connect these signs?
