Both ports cannot be configured on the same subnet.
For example, I have to following:
192.168.1.12 for Port 1
192.168.2.12 for Port 2
The 3rd one has to be different, its mandatory with Fanuc
Having you been cycling power or doing the INIT anytime you make changes? If you don't do one or the other after a change it wont recognize the change. To get to INIT just press next on the screen where you go to change the address then IIRC F3 will be INIT, press it and then select YES when you get they yellow pop-up box. Its a lot quicker doing this than cycling power everytime.
I got it to work by changing the third number in the ip address. Thanks to everyone for all the help!

FYI, I have found on numerous occasions, that the "init" does not work and a power cycle was still needed
