you install VisionTech and configure from there

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

In fact you can only use it in Windows.
It will have no access to KSS.
I used KONI to do remote desktop.

    Hi KR16_2

Please elaborate, how did you configure KONI for remote desktop?

    Thanks

    As irobot posted.
Run this from command line in windows on KRC4:
    KUKAHardwareManager.exe -assign OptionNIC -os WIN

Don't remember where exactly this .exe is located (or if its in a path)
There is some stuff under c:\kuka\hardware...

If I remember correctly you have to run it with KSS off so you will need external monitor and keyboard.
Once this utility runs it opens a window with log information. There is HELP or ABOUT that explains how to set IP and Netmask.
Once you set it connect network to KONI set your IP in a same range and you are good to go.
This is not designated use for that port as I was told this is for tech packages. But it works with windows just fine.
