Changing Ethernet IP Address of DX200

    I am setting up a Ethernet Network with several PLC's a HMI and a Yaskawa/Motoman DX200/MH24. I need to use IP addresses similar to those I already use in the plant. I have been trying to find where in the DX200 I can change the IP address but so far have only been able to view the ip address (192.168.255.001). It is probably in a setup screen or parameter I am overlooking. I would appreciate it if someone could please help me figure out how to make this change.

    1) turn on controller holding the main menu key
    2) system, security and enter 99999999 or 00000000 ( i never remember) to go to Maintenance mode
    3) setup, option function then select network, detail
    4) i think the rest is obvious
    5) when you are , press enter, then the controller is going to ask to modify, it might ask you few time
    6) reboot

    You need to enter the Maintenance Menu




    1) Turn ON the power supply again while pressing [MAIN MENU]
    simultaneously.
    – The maintenance mode window appears.


    2) Select {SYSTEM} under the main menu.
    – The sub menu appears.
    [size=78%]3) Select {Security}.[/size]


    – The Security setting window appears.


    4. Set the security mode to the “MANAGEMENT MODE”.
    – Security mode is set to “MANAGEMENT MODE”.
    5. Select {SYSTEM} under the main menu.
    – The sub menu appears.


    6. Select {SETUP}.
    – The SETUP window appears.
    7. Select {OPTION FUNCTION}.
    – The function selection window appears.


    8. Select {DETAIL} of {NETWORK}.
    – The network function setting window appears



    Should be easy from here.

    I tried the procedure you outlined and it worked great. I looked through the collection of CDs that came with my robot and didn't find a DX200 OPTION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ETHERNET FUNCTION CD. I have the DX200 HS ETHERNET SERVER FUNCTION OPTION CD because I purchased that option to be able to interface with a PROFACE HMI but the procedure for changing the IP is not in that manual. Does the DX200 OPTION FOR ETHERNET FUNCTION CD usually come with a DX200 or do you have to order a Ethernet Function Option to get it.
