Hello all,
I am in the process of integrating our LRmate200ID with a RJ3ib controller to our process. Our controller is connected to the A type I/O module that contain analog out and digital out boards. I've been programming for years, but new to the Fanuc environment. What I want to do seems simple in theory, but my dealer cant seem to help (or they don't do much programming). Here's the scenario.
We have several devices being driven programmatically through the I/O ports. All I want to do is shut down the outputs during any error condition (servo error,e-stop event etc.). If any of these conditions occur, I want to drive the analog output to zero, and turn off all the relays on the digital I/O board. Getting manuals from my dealer has been like pulling teeth. I read on another forum about running programs in the background. This seems like an option if there is an error handler or something similar in Fanuc control system. If I can run a program in the background and trap there error states, I could have a routine to manage my external I/O. I'm open to anything that will achieve what I'm trying to do.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
