KUKA simpro connect tot KUKA connect KRC

    Hello,

    I have a question about the connection between Simpro and KRC.
    I have followed the tutorial for connecting these 2 but it wont work.

    My problem is that I need to make an connection between KUKA simpro 2.2.2 and KUKA connect KRC 2.0, so I can use the robotcontroller to program in KUKA simpro.

    KUKA simpro is running in windows 7 and the connect is running in a VM.

    can you provide a screenshot of the IP settings in Windows and in VM ware.(Cmd --> ipconfig/all)

    Did you install connectPC with KUKA.SIM?
    Did you install ConnectKRC?
    Did you set the variable CON_bSHOW_FILTER_DIALOG=TRUE?

    can you give a screenshot of the connection settings in KUKA.SIM (the connectPC page)

    thanks for ur help.

    I got the connection between Kuka simpro and the KRC controller, now I can use the controller to program the robot in KUKA simpro.

    But now I need to get connection to the real robot.
    Do any1 know if its possible to connect a real robot to KUKA simpro so you can see the actual position of the robot in kuka simpro?

    the basics for connecting KUKA sim and office lite are basicly the same as for connecting Kuka.Sim to a real robot controller.


    install Connect.KRC on real robot.
    Set the Network settings correct for The PC and robot controller
    set the variables you want to use int the IN File (or use the variable in the connect window)

    if i remember correctly you have to order a license to run Connect.KRC on a real controller.

    It works for the axis but when i want to add a digital input or i put it doesn't want to.

    Does anyone have experience with connection the real robot I/O's with the ones in KUKA.Sim?

    You connected the Sim to a physical robot? You need to provide quite a lot more info I think.
