ABB MOTION SUPERSIVION 50204

  • Hi

I have this controller Robot IRB 2400 M2000 (S4CPlus Controller)
    Robot Version IRB 2400L
The robot is working fine "no errors on start-up" but when i move the axis. 4,5,6 the robot stop.. about the other axis, "1.2.3" they are a little bit stronger comparing with axix 4.5.6.
    i mean power\stronger..

    Errors:
    50204 Motion supervision
    10024 Collision triggered
    10026 Collision Retraction

  • Do the axes move freely if you release the brakes? (Take gravity into consideration)
    Do the brakes actually release?
There's a way to set the sensitivity on the collision detection, but I'd have to look it up.
There's also an override option on the jog page under File.

    Thank you, for the help
yes.. the brakes release well.. i don't see any friction
how i can check the sensitivity on the collision detection?

    Best Regards

  • In my experience, Axis 5 motion supervision when there is nothing obviously wrong is often caused by jogging with a tool that does not account for the weight of the EOAT.

    yes.. can be...
    but on the characteristics
abb say 5 to 7 KG "11-15 pounds" , and the tool installed is around 2.5KG "5.5pounds"

But I removed the tool, to test and happened the same.. the axis stop---

    Do you have any sugestion?

  • how i can check the sensitivity on the collision detection?

    On an S4C system:
    Misc>System Parameters
Select the system (on the machine I checked, it was irb)
Under Types 1 select 4)Motion Sup

You should be able to enable/disable motion supervision for path and/or jog - or set the sensitivity.
(on the machine I checked, it was 300 for both path and jog)
