I am working on a KR150 R2700 Extra Robot with KRC4 controller. It is a picking application in which Robot reach is critical for me. According to Robot Details (attached), the reach of the Robot is 2696 mm. But I am trying to explore the actual reach of the robot and I did lot of experiment today and the conclusion is Robot cannot go beyond 2549 mm. As soon as I program the robot to go above this 2549 mm by even 0.5 mm, KSS shot an error of "Workspace Error" and it does not allow to move to programmed point.
I would like to know how I can take this 147 mm (2696-2549). Ok , let say not entire 147 mm but I need 100 mm which is critical to my application. I checked and there are no workspace configured in the robot. It seems to be internal protection from KUKA. Is there anyway to gain in this situation.
