    Hi All

I am new with Motoman robots, the company i just started working have a Motoman XRC UP6 they want to setup for trainning playing a while and reading a little bit the manuals the plant give me I could not make it work in the teach pendant screen it shows the followed alarm

    Alarm 0021
    Comunication Error (Servo)
    [50]

    !Turn ON Servo Power

If a swap my key to edit, the teach button enable and hold the dead man, the servo ON light start blink but the Turn ON servo power still at the bottom of the screen.

Can anyone give an idea how to fix this alarm.

    Thanks in advanced

With the XRC robots there is a servo system power supply. It's always to the left of the servo pack. There should be a green LED lit up on the power supply when the power is on. If the green light is not on check to see if there is 208 volts AC single phase coming into the servo power supply (two black wires on 1CN).

If this only comes up when turn the servo power on, I would check the servo on light. If there is a short in the servo on light, the 24 volts gets pulled down as the servo power comes on and you will get this message.

To left of the servo pack there is a small power supply for the servo system. There is a green LED labeled 5v. Is this on or off?
