For the first , you should know how to communicate with robot using RS232-C Standard. And the, you can send pose data to robot and let the robot move along the path which you have planed! FYI. Good luck!

I have been trying to communicate with PC using TCP/IP. During these days, once in a while, I know some thing about serial communication. RS232-C Standard uses the DB25 connector. There are 3 Pins which are used to communicate with other serial equipments as follow:
2 TXD
3 RXD
7 GNDYou can check the Technical reference manual--RAPID Instructions, Functions and Data types.Search the key words "serial".
