Hello everyone
I want to implement seam tracking with laser sensor on ABB, but i don't know which software package i need to setup and which hardware i need to add to the controller.Is there any tops or manuals i can reference?

Um-Hum, you are right. But the laser sensor is mine, i don't know whether they will help me. I want to take an early look at some doucuments or topics to know what i need specificly. Thank you!

Now, i've found some ABB's Options, such as Path Offset, PC Interface, Sensor Interface, Externally Guide Motion. But i don't know which one i need, who can tell me, which one can be used to connect my sensor? I think maybe it's a universal interface which can also connect to Servo Robot or Meta!

1. If you use the sensor with Arc welding commands.
660-1 Optical Tracking Arc
Integration of Tracking functionality into RW Arc.Or
2. If you use own commands.
813-1 Optical Tracking
Integration of Tracking functionality into CAP
628-1 Sensor Interface
Communication interface, LTC* and RAPID instructions
Included in options 660-1 and 813-1.ABB use LTAPP protocol for comunication with a laser traking sensor by RS-232 or Ethernet.

There is not need any aditional hardware for connect a sensor system to a robots cotroller. -
