Hi, Why do you want to initialize the robot? If you turn the controller off and on again you will start up normal.
-
hi Mr.TRBe,
....i did turn off and on many times still i am getting the same screen ..
NIF card showing " F " dono y ... cpu showing " 5 " .... servo ready is not turning on in pendant ,,
any idea to solve this problem?? pls find attachement.... -
if it starts in the maintenance mode maybe the main menu button is stuck pressed on PP.
concerning the numbers in NIF and axis maybe you should contact Motoman.
check also the fuses of the NIF board. -
What happend with your pendant?? When you start up what are the LED indicators displaying? and when the controller started up do they keep displaying F and 5 ?
-
The robot was not working before? The battery led is lit (left above the F on the nif. So im guessing your controller battery ran out.
Replace the battery and load an image or initialize the robot. -
1.if it starts in the maintenance mode maybe the main menu button is stuck pressed on PP

There is some Rotary switch you can change then the robot Always starts up in maintenance mode, but i do not remember where its located and what number it is.
Maybe you can look at another controller and compare.--> Found it, it is S1 Rotary switch on Nif board. 0 is normal operation, 7 is maintenance mode.

@mr. TRBe
but both rotary switch are at 0... so it should work normally rite??

where are you from?
you must contact yaskawa reprezentatitive. it seem that you must reinitialize the robot regarding model apllication external axis.
If you have a backup is much easy.

hello
i have same problem please tell me what did yo do? -
Contact yasakawa or yasakawa integrator. You need to re-inilize the system. To do factory settings you need yasakawa password. I'm not authorized person to dis-close the password.

The F on the NIF board means that maintenance mode is starting up. The 5 is not the cpu but the AXA board. The 5 on the AXA means start the system. Completes initialization. The item that I believe is causing your problems is the NIF board has a battery indicator. This is the red light above and to the left of the F. Your system battery is weak and I believe that the controller was turned off. The capacitor on the NIF did not last long enough before the controller was turned on again. Everything in the controller's memory was lost.
Do you have a cmos.bin file? If so, reload and you are back to the point in time the cmos was saved. If not, Yaskawa needs to set the system back up.

Hello!
As you can see in your NIF board you have a red spot over the F led segment display that indicares that your battery ran out so the system lose his configuration, you need to repleace your battery and load a CMOS.bin if you dont have the backup you will need to initialize the system.
Regards.
