Hello, everyone. I am troubled with a KR C2 Edition problem which is that my hard drive does not work. So, I buy a new hard drive which the storage is 20G. Unfortunately, I did not make the WinXP Embedded of KR C2 back up. So, I need some one's help who can give me the system. Then I could re-install it. Anyone's is appreciated! Thanks!

    The KRC version is V5.4.14!

You can probably still get this from KUKA service. You'll need to provide them with the serial number of your KRC2 to ensure that you get the correct version.

Thanks for your reply. I asked KUKA Shanghai for help. They told me I had to buy hard drive from them. And it is too expensive. I have a document about the window xp, but I do not know how to use it.

You can find a robot with C2 controller which is the same system version and hard moudle, and then backup it as image using ghost. I think restore the image to your robot controller will be OK. If necessary, you can setup a KSS.

Yes, I've done that in the past. It may still be necessary to fix certain items, like Windows IP addresses, but in general it should work fine. Image the entire hard drive, then restore an Archive for the robot being repaired.

KUKA should be able to provide the Windows installer CD, regardless of whether the hard drive was purchased from them. They won't warranty the non-KUKA hard drive, but any KRC2 is going to be out from under warranty anyway....

Thanks for your help. It is really not easy to do that. Anyway If I find one, is it still to change the file like mada to adjust to my robot? Or else just re-install the KSS?

I think files what you have mentioned is easy for you, you can ask KUKA service for those files if you can provide your robot's model number.KUKA will tell you how to backup and how to restore.

It's not hard, assuming you made a good Archive of this robot before it failed.
