KRC2 KSS Software Locks at 10% - Frustrated

    Dear Forumers,

    I am relatively new to the world of KUKA robots and only have 1 year experience. This forum has been really great for me in the past year to help me solve problems that I face, more or less, on a daily routine.

    We have a "KR 500 L700 -2 TUV 4 Achsen" that has been sitting in our warehouse for at least 6 years. We have recently decided to use that robot and I am taking care of setting it up to see if there is any problem with the robot beside the overhaul that it needs to go in.

    The Controller is an OLD KRC2 with XP operating system, and runs KSS 5.4.10.

    The problem I have been working on in the past couple of days, :wallbash:, is that after windows boots up, the HMI starts loading but it locks at 10% and then it closes.

    I have pinged 192.0.1.2, and the communication with VxWorks looks fine.

    I really appreciate if anyone who has any idea how to solve this problem, can share his/her experience with me here.

    I pulled the MFC card out, cleaned it and also the slot on the motherboard and put it back again.

    Also when I ping 192.0.1.2 in windows, the communication is established and windows can talk to the MFC card. However, the LED on the MFC-DSE card is not lit.
