Hello all,
I keep getting the following alarm, during operation and at random times:
- 1140 block change at stop
The robot is braking sharply. Any ideas, why?

Hi,
this message usually is only an add-on to another message that is set exactly at a block change (e.g. entering the approximation radius): In the event of dynamic braking or path-maintaining braking during a block change, it is not possible to calculate "$POS_RET" and the system time.
Hence look for the other message.

Hi Fubini !
I have same message error 1140 Block change stop followed by 1104 Ackn regulator limit exceeded axis E1
Can you help me?
It coul be from machine.dat settings on braking values ?
Ty
No, you have wrong with E1, it just happens to be happening at the exact moment that will cause a Block Change error. You need to find the root cause of the E1 fault.
Can you be more specific ?
What wrong with E1 could be?
Problem solved .
I reconfigured E1 motor parameters in machine.dat
Error doesn't appear anymore. It is recommended to use Axisconfigurator from Setup/Service to choose the right servomotor then its parameters are automated loaded in machine.dat.
But there are more setup to do in machine.dat manually though.
Then a cold restart is asked.
