$TOOL and changing tool values

    I have a question regarding tcp and changing tcp values at start of a program. The thing is that I am developing a c# program for scripting *.dat and *.src files, from a XML file generated in a 3D process. Inside this XML there are traj poins and base and tcp for these points. For the traj I have no problem, but for base and tcp, what is the best way to put their values inside the program. I think I could rewrite the TOOL_DATA[] and BASE_DATA[], or maybe use $TOOL with a frame at the beggining of *.src. What do you think is the best???

    That depends on the output of your C# utility. If the output uses full Inline Forms for each motion, then you will need to change the values of the TOOL_DATA and BASE_DATA arrays. However, if your .SRC file is simply a series of "raw" KRL motion commands, then you can adjust $TOOL and $BASE at will.
