master counts

    what would happen if i master my zero position and there is an master count axis different from the data sheet?
    there is an impact with my programs?

    If you lost battery power, disconnected a pulse coder cable or replaced a motor you will always get a new value when you do a zero master.

    There is no impact if you mastered the robot correctly. There may be some touch up needed due to the variation between the "factory" mastering position and the position the robot was in when you mastered it.
    The master counts represent the position of the encoder when it was reset relative to the position it was mastered in.
    If you master it at zero, then pull off a motor and turn it, then master it at zero again the master counts for that motor will be off. If you master it at zero then jog the robot and master it at zero again, the master counts will be the same or very close.

    I would update the data sheet with the new master counts.

    thank you.
    i knew i was with the correct idea. i was looking support cause some people talk me something different about this change and obviously i had doubts about my knowledge.
